This Privacy Policy describes how Energy Unleashed ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and discloses your personal information when you visit energyunleashed.com.au or energyunleashed.co.nz (together, the "Site"), buy from us, or otherwise interact with us. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles and, for individuals in New Zealand, the Privacy Act 2020 (NZ).

1. What We Collect

1.1 Order and contact information: your name, email address, delivery address, phone number, and details of the products you order.

1.2 Payment information: payments are processed by our payment providers (for example Shopify Payments or PayPal). We do not see or store your full card number.

1.3 Device and usage information: IP address, browser and device details, and how you use the Site, collected through cookies and similar technologies used by our ecommerce platform and analytics tools.

1.4 Communications: emails and messages you send us, and our replies, retained for customer service and record keeping.

2. How We Use It

We use personal information to process and deliver orders, provide customer support, process payments and refunds, manage subscriptions, send service messages about your order, send marketing communications where you have opted in (you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email), prevent fraud, and meet our legal obligations.

3. Who We Share It With

3.1 We share personal information only as needed to run the business, with: our ecommerce platform (Shopify), payment processors, shipping carriers and fulfilment partners, subscription and cart software providers, review and email service providers, and professional advisers where required.

3.2 Some of our service providers, including fulfilment and technology partners, are located overseas, including in the Asia-Pacific region and the United States. Where personal information is disclosed overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled consistently with the privacy laws that apply to you.

3.3 We do not sell your personal information.

4. Cookies

The Site uses cookies to keep your cart working, remember preferences, and understand Site performance. You can control cookies in your browser settings; disabling them may affect checkout.

5. Security and Retention

We use reputable providers and take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We retain order records as required for tax, accounting and consumer law purposes, and delete or de-identify information we no longer need.

6. Access, Correction and Complaints

You can request access to or correction of your personal information, or make a privacy complaint, by emailing sales@energyunleashed.com.au. We will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au) or, in New Zealand, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz).
